Empty Bowls brings our community together for a simple meal of soup and bread while supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania. Guests can enjoy a variety of soups, breads, and desserts generously donated by local restaurants and choose from hundreds of handmade bowls created by local artists and community members. Each bowl is a lasting reminder of a day spent together and the difference we can make when our community comes together to support our neighbors.
Supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania’s Empty Bowls event helps us provide nutritious meals for the more than 101,000 individuals facing hunger in our community, including 1 in 5 children.* Just a $25 donation to Second Harvest provides enough meals to feed one person for three weeks
