Thank You for Supporting the Third Annual Empty Bowls!
Empty Bowls consists of a modest meal of soup and bread as a reminder that too many of our neighbors are facing hunger with “empty bowls.” Guests will enjoy a variety of soups, breads, and desserts donated by local restaurants. With hundreds of handmade bowls to choose from, all guests in attendance will select a bowl as a memento of their contribution toward alleviating hunger in northwest Pennsylvania.
Supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania’s Empty Bowls event helps us provide nutritious meals for the more than 95,000 individuals facing hunger in our community, including 1 in 5 children.* Just a $20 donation to Second Harvest provides enough meals to feed one person for two weeks.
