Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania invites you to support our organization at the 2024 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community! The event will take place at a new location, Penn State Behrend, on June 1, 2024. The Highmark Walk for Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service agencies, such as Second Harvest Food Bank.

The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations, like Second Harvest, raise money for their individual missions. The mission of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania is to provide food to our neighbors in need within eleven counties of northwest Pennsylvania while creating awareness and educating the communities on the realities of hunger. You can support Second Harvest a few ways: donate to the walk, join the walk, create a team for the walk, or sponsor Second Harvest.
There is two ways to walk: register as an individual or gather a group of people to walk together as a team.

Please support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania during the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community! Your contributions will be put to work helping supply food and other groceries items to families, children, seniors, and individuals who are facing difficult circumstances.
Sponsorships are due by May 24, 2024 to ensure the proper time for recognition. Corporate sponsors receive:
Gold Shoe Sponsor – $1,000
- Help Second Harvest provide 2,174 meals to neighbors in need.
- Inclusion on all social media promotion.
- Organization promotion on event tent signage.
Silver Shoe Sponsor – $500
- Help Second Harvest provide 1,087 meals to neighbors in need.
- Inclusion on all social media promotion.
Bronze Shoe Sponsor – $250
- Help Second Harvest provide 543 meals to neighbors in need.
