Designed to look and feel like a grocery store, the Marketplace allows individuals and families to move through the space and choose foods that fit their needs, preferences, and lifestyles.

At no cost for income-qualified neighbors, the Marketplace offers a variety of options including fresh produce, meats, dairy, and shelf-stable and frozen foods—making it easier to bring home meals that work for every household.

Second Harvest Marketplace builds on a choice model by creating an atmosphere that feels like shopping a grocery store and pairing it with additional supportive resources located at St. Pauls Neighborhood Center. This meets neighbors where they are at and allows our team to connect them with services that support all areas of their lives.

Located in the former Saint Paul School, the site is being transformed into a purpose-driven space that supports both residents of partner housing programs and the broader community.

This new location will serve as more than a food pantry—it will be part of a larger community hub designed to connect neighbors to opportunity and support.

The Marketplace’s first location is inside the UPMC Health Plan Neighborhood Center, allowing us to meet neighbors where they are—connecting them not only to nutritious food, but also to valuable community resources in one convenient place.

The Marketplace is open by appointment to individuals, seniors, veterans, and families in need of food assistance.
