Food drives raise awareness of hunger in the community, collect food for people in need and play an essential role in alleviating hunger. Food drives are great activities that are easy and rewarding. Everyone can get involved and help make a difference in the lives of our hungry neighbors.
A food drive can consist of a collection of a variety of non-perishable food items, fresh produce and non-food items. Please review the document below for a list of most needed items.
We’d be happy to help you coordinate a successful event. If you would like to host a food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania, we can provide you with barrels for food and Second Harvest banners or signage. Please call Alex Lockwood at 814-459-3663 x 113 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
for help with planning your event. Your project will be recognized at our Bread Box Awards.
