Every $1 donated to Second Harvest provides $17 (retail value) worth of food which is equivilant to 7 meals for those in need. 97% of every donated dollar goes toward fulfilling our mission of providing feed to those in need within 11 counties of northwest Pennsylvania. Monetary donations are encouraged, as we are able to stretch a donation so that every $1 donated allows us to obtain $17 (retail value) worth of valued goods. Collecting donations on behalf of Second Harvest is a great way to increase the supply of food and resources to help those in need.
