Second Annual Empty Bowls

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania is hosting the Second Annual Empty Bowls event on October 19, 2023, from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM. This event will serve up a simple meal of soup and bread as a reminder that too many people throughout our region are facing hunger with “empty bowls”. Tickets are $25 per person prior to the event and will be $30 at the door.

With the price of admission, guests will enjoy a selection of many delicious flavors of soups from various local restaurants. The event will also feature live entertainment.

More than 400 handmade bowls were donated. All guests in attendance select a hand-made bowl to take home as a reminder that many of our neighbors need our help to fill their “empty bowls”.
